Validation
The Assessment products (Applicant Review® and Employee Dependability ProfileTM) provided by Certifinder are well-validated screening tools that have been successfully used by organizations in the United States and Canada for more than 25 years. Comprehensive Technical Manuals detailing the research and development of these Assessments are available from Certifinder upon request. The manuals present information regarding the psychometric properties of the instruments including subscale contributions to reliability, validity, and a robust nationwide norm reference group. The Technical Manuals also report adverse impact studies showing the Assessments do not discriminate unfairly on the basis of race or gender.

It is important to note that state laws vary in the United States regarding the use of employment and integrity screening products and therefore we recommend that employers consult their legal counsel prior to implementing any type of employment screening process, including the Applicant Review.

The Applicant Review is fully compliant with Canadian Human Rights legislation and is available for use by Canadian employers in English and French.

Standards For Educational And Psychological Testing
In developing and updating the Assessments, Certifinder has made a concerted effort to adhere to the Standards For Educational And Psychological Testing developed by the American Educational Research Association, American Psychological Association and the National Council on Measurement in Education.
